Houston-based naval architecture and engineering firm The Shearer Group Inc. (TSGI) reports that it has promoted two members of its team.


Joshua S. Sebastian, PE, a 13-year veteran of the company, was promoted to vice president – operations after eight years as TSGI’s director of engineering.

A professional engineer registered in Connecticut, Texas and Washington, Sebastian will be responsible for all commercial aspects of TSGI while using his 23 years of experience in the marine industry to help TSGI continue to provide engineering services to its customers. clients.


Harrison C. Brann, PE, a seven-year veteran of the company as a Senior Naval Architect, was promoted to Director of Engineering after his years of successful project management experience and after earning his Masters in business from Rice University in 2021.

A professional engineer registered in the State of Texas, Brann will be responsible for managing the engineering team at TSGI. Harrison has been involved in numerous TSGI projects including tugboat designs, dry docks, LNG conversions, hybrid vessel designs, tank barges, marine construction equipment and dredges.
