The scope of services: The City of Seattle, through its Seattle Center Department Redevelopment Office, seeks qualified landscape architecture and urban design firms to provide on-call landscape architecture and urban design services for projects maintenance and capital improvements. Projects will be identified as funding becomes available.

The City plans to select a consultant available for on-call landscape architecture services for the following projects:

• Campus placemaking designs

• Open space improvement plan

• Peer review of landscape improvement designs for major campus projects

• Support and design of holidays on the street

• Accessible/ADA hardware revisions and lane improvements

• Warren Avenue Landscape Improvements

• Peer review of wireless network infrastructure upgrades

The services contemplated in this solicitation are consistent with the City’s commitment to Women and Minority-Owned Businesses (WMBEs) as embodied in the Equal Procurement Ordinance, City Code of Seattle, Chapter 20.42 and executive orders issued in 2010 and 2014, which communicate city policies and priorities to maximize inclusion efforts to ensure WMBEs have every opportunity to be included in purchases / contracts of the city of Seattle.

The Seattle Center is hosting an optional virtual pre-submission conference on April 26, 2022 at 11 a.m. Details provided in RFQ.
