Landscape architect/designer:

We are looking for a driven, passionate and articulate designer with experience in project management and design development for landscape projects. The candidate must be comfortable communicating and collaborating with contractors, clients and other team members in the development of design and construction drawings. Our office is located in downtown Los Angeles, but there is an opportunity for a hybrid work environment.

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Work with principals on landscape architecture projects from conceptual design through construction administration, including managing sub-consultants as required.
  • Production, organization, coordination of construction and presentation documents.
  • Simultaneously lead multiple projects at various stages of development and work collaboratively with the core team to ensure design integrity and graphical consistency.
  • Communicate with and coordinate the efforts of project team members, clients, consultants, contractors and agency officials.
  • Manage project schedule and workflow.
  • Research and specify materials, products and systems.
  • Attend site meetings, issue additional instructions, review submissions and shop drawings during construction observation phase.
  • Strong English communication skills are essential to succeed in this position.

CANDIDATE QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Degree in landscape architecture or related experience
  • Work experience in a design office
  • MAC OSX – we are a MAC based desktop
  • AutoCAD
  • SketchUp
  • MS Office suite
  • Adobe Design Suite
  • Hand sketch
