When Mundus Bishop was selected to upgrade public access to the Plains Conservation Center, a shortgrass prairie preserve in Colorado, the pandemic was still two years away. Social distancing made the center a destination for nearby Aurora residents, so the design team focused on the delicate balance between people and the prairie.
