Houston’s design community has a generous spirit year round, but in the month of December there is always an effort to help others.

This year, Newberry Architecture and interior designer Katie Davis of Katie Davis Design collect donations for the Marine Corps Toys for Toddlers, a program that has been in existence for over 30 years.

They are asking that new and unwrapped toys, books and gifts for children in need be delivered to their offices. Gifts must be valued at $ 10 or more. The children helped each receive two toys and three gifts.

Deliver gifts 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. Monday through Friday through December 21 at Newberry Architecture, 6990 Portwest Dr., Suite 190, or Katie Davis Design, 901 Cortlandt.
