Call for Entries: The Greater Bay Area’s Premier Urban Design Awards 2020

The aim of the first Greater Bay Area Urban Design Awards (GBA Urban Design Awards) is to raise the overall standard of urban design in the Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macau (GBA) Greater Bay Area through to the recognition of excellence in projects related to urban design in the GBA and to foster collaboration and exchange between urban designers, planners, architects, landscape architects, engineers, surveyors and other professionals in the urban design, businesses and organizations of the GBA.

The awards will take place as a biennial event. This year, the first GBA Urban Design Awards 2020 are organized by the Hong Kong Institute of Urban Design with the support of other member institutes of the Greater Bay Area Urban Designer Alliance and the sponsorship of Create Hong Kong (CreateHK) of the Government of Hong Kong. Special administrative region. Urban design professionals and GBA organizations are invited to submit urban design projects to participate in the GBA Urban Design Awards from July 17, 2020 to September 14, 2020. To establish the credibility of the GBA Urban Design Awards, academics and renowned urban design practitioners will be invited to serve on the jury and the adjudication of the jury will take place from October to November this year.
