AGM announces a new editor for ArchitectureNow.

Amber Star

Jacinda Rogers has joined the AGA as ArchitectureNow’s new publisher, having worked at book publisher Blackwell & Ruth and its sister company MILK Books for almost a decade.

Rogers’ freelance writing has appeared in New Zealand art magazines and blogs on a wide range of topics including landscape architecture, the environment, socio-political issues, fashion and lifestyle.

Rogers earned a bachelor’s degree in landscape architecture from Unitec in 2012. Her love for gardens and the environment led her to take a particular interest in sustainable, low-impact architecture and design.

“The team here at the AGM is thrilled to see Jacinda bring a new and fresh voice to the ArchitectureNow Platform. Jacinda’s background in publishing, along with her background in landscape architecture, make her uniquely qualified to lead the architectural discourse on ArchitectureNow. I hope the industry embraces him as we do and I look forward to seeing the platform evolve and grow under his editorial leadership.

-Editor, Nathan Inkpen

Rogers joined the AGM team in April and will be arranging digital content, as well as ordering original content for ArchitectureNow and its related social media platforms. Additionally, she will support Chris Barton (Editor) and Amanda Harkness (Editor/Associate Editor) of Architecture NZ.

She can’t wait to show up at the ArchitectureNow community and showcasing projects and products that inform and inspire in the fields of architecture, landscape architecture, interior design and everything in between.

For any inquiries or to submit interesting work, Jacinda Rogers can be contacted at [email protected].
